The Birth of Diacoustic
Diacoustic, founded in 2007, is situated in Stellenbosch, South Africa, with major shareholders the Industrial Development Corporation, Stellenbosch University and GeoMed.
Initially studies and research was conducted to evaluate the current position of auscultation in South Africa, Egypt and the United Kingdom. Diacoustic started work on Sensi to bridge the gap in the medical device market, and improve the medical services for early detection of congenital heart defects.
