Sensi is a decision support software package intended to be used on a patient to assist the medical examiner during heart auscultation to distinguish between normal/physiological and pathological heart murmurs. A recording is made of the acoustic signal of the heart and the ECG signal. These analysed signals can be used to aid in the diagnosis. The device must be used in a clinical setting by trained personnel with the prescribed accessories and all relevant patient information must be taken into consideration before a diagnosis is made.

NOTE
The device is not intended to be a sole means of diagnosis.
The final judgment on the diagnosis is still with the qualified medical personnel.
The medical history and physical examination results must be taken into consideration during the decision making process.
The software is intended to be used in quiet environment on patients with an audible auscultation.
The software and device is not intended to be used as a standalone ECG device.
The ECG recording and analysis is not intended for any ECG related diagnostic application (e.g. the screening of ECG related cardiac abnormalities). Caution: Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
Sensi Sounds (LIMITED FREE DOWNLOAD)
As an educational resource Sensi Sounds comes with multiple real-world recordings of the most common congenital heart defects. It's look-and-feel is exactly the same as the Sensi edition and also offers the diagnosis functionality to classify heart murmurs.
Take your Cardiac Auscultation to the next step with Sensi
Shift the way you listen
Sensi, Diacoustic’s Computer-aided Auscultation (CAA) device, acquires heart sounds using a WelchAllyn electronic stethoscope, as well as computer and decision support software to record and analyse acoustic heart signals. Heart signals are processed by means of algorithms that analyse the recording to identify specific heart sounds, including S1, S2 and suspected heart murmurs. Results of the auscultation are displayed on a graphic user interface and can easily be shared with specialists (or physicians) and allows unlimited storage of patient data. Auscultate with confidence when heart rates are high When heart rates rise above120 bpm it becomes increasingly difficult to differentiate systole and diastole. Using Sensi’s patented algorithm your cardiac auscultation can be greatly improved by the visual display of heart signals and automatic labeling of S1-S2 and diagnosis feedback.
Improve correct referrals Sensi has been trained and tested to detect multiple Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). By using Sensi in combination with your expert knowledge it is possible to improve your sensitivity and specificity for heart murmurs to more than 90%, increasing the number of correct referrals made.
Built on one of the largest heart sound databases Sensi’s has gained experience from multiple expert cardiologist knowledge. A database of 1850 heart sounds have been recorded in real clinical conditions. This data was used to make Sensi an expert in its own right.
Patient history stored with each auscultation Keep record of all your decisions using Sensi. During each examination your findings can be included and stored with the cardiac examination.
ECG usability The Sensi Package allows for the simultaneous recording of a 3-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) that is graphically displayed after each recording. The acoustic heart signal makes it much easier to correctly detect and analyse very fast heart rates and enhances the likelihood of more efficient diagnosis.
